SUMMARY:Siege Perilous - Murder in the Library
DESCRIPTION:Starting time : 5 pm EST at the House of Commons (EM Hall) \n \nThe Royal Detective’s wings bristled as he surveyed the library around him. It was almost tranquil. Normally there would have been pools of blood from a stab wound like this\, but this time the corpse lay on a neatly arranged pile of magical scrolls\, which had fine absorbent qualities. \nThen there was the deceased himself. Neatly dressed\, in expensive clothes which showed no sign of a struggle. Indeed\, it was as if the man’s squire or valet had just finished helping him to dress. \nThe library staff were unhelpful\, at best. Most of them kept “shushing” him when he tried to interrogate them\, and those he could get to talk claimed to have seen nothing. He found that unlikely\, given that the corpse lay in the middle of the room. \nThe young librarian who had reported the murder was equally unhelpful. She had been tidying the stacks of scrolls when she came upon the man lying there. The lack of blood had made her think he was sleeping at first or had succumbed to too much drink. It was only when she had tried to rouse him that she found death was already stiffening his limbs. \nThe victim’s pockets and belt pouch held little in the way of clues either. There was no indication as to his identity\, but the motive had probably not been gold. His coin pouch was full – bulging\, in fact. A golden time piece on his wrist was also untouched. Even his hat which would have fetched a fair penny in the markets was untaken\, placed neatly to one side of the peaceful corpse. \nSaengkt ver beh sighed\, bristled his wings once more\, and opened a moongate to his study. This case would take some thought\, and several blocks of Trinsic chocolate to process. \nWhat you need to know \n\nThis is a murder mystery. That means this event will require more thought\, and less bashing. If you find puzzle-solving boring\, then you will be bored. If\, however\, you like mental stimulation and mysteries\, then I think you will be highly entertained.\nGates to the EM Hall will be available in the usual places\, half an hour to an hour before the event.\nI hope to have VvV turned off in Britain for the two hours surrounding this event. As of this writing\, I do not know if that will be possible or not. If it is not\, we will simply go and defend the outskirts of Britain from a sudden invasion of monsters until VvV is over. The guard zone will (probably) stay turned on.

However\, due to there is no tool for this game\, we will use dice and chessman. Most of rules are same\, but there are few things different for fun and playtime: \nDice Rules \n\nWhen you use dice\, it will show two numbers. Yut only uses 6 numbers\, however\, so we will use only first number. For example\, if you have 4+5 when you roll the dice\, we will use first number 4 only.\nEach numbers are the how many steps can chessman go forward.\n\n1: 1 step\n2: 2 steps\n3: 3 steps\n4: 4 steps\n5: 5 steps\n6: Back to 1 step (-1)\n\n\nYou can roll the dice once again if you are:\n\nIf you have number 5\nIf second mover’s chessman catches first mover’s chessman\, second mover will get another chance to roll the dice\, and second mover’s chessman will back to the start point.\nIf second mover’s chessman catches first mover’s chessman\, second mover will get another chance to roll the dice\, and second mover’s chessman will back to the start point. AND if second mover have number 5\, will get another chance to roll the dice.\nMaximum number of roll the dice will be limited to 3.\n\n\n\nCatching and Piggyback \n\nIf second mover’s chessman catches first mover’s chessman\, first mover’s chessman must go back to the start point\, and start all over again.\nIf first mover’s chessmen have number 6\, and back to 1 step where the second mover’s chessman located\, second mover’s chessman must go back to the start point. In this case\, first mover will get another chance to roll the dice.\nPlayer have 4 chessman. Player must make one rotate each chessman. But each chessman are individuals\, which means you can move forward 2 chessman on game board separately. For example\, if you have number 2 and move one chessman\, and next turn you have number 1\, you can choose move chessman to move forward 1 step\, or choose to move another chessman from start point.\nPiggyback rule means if two separate chessman locate in same position\, they can be together. For example\, if you have number 2 and move one chessman 2 steps. And next turn you have same number 2 and you decide to move another chessman to same location where the first one is. Then you can decide “piggyback” them. If you piggyback them\, they will go together whatever the number you roll the dice. But it is risky if second mover catches them\, they must all go back to the start point.\n\nGame Board \n\nPlayer have 4 chessmen. Objective of this game is to make one rotate each chessmen from the start point.\nChessmen will go around the square game board. However\, there are 5 points that they can go short-cut. (Each corners and center)\nIf there’s no chessman in the game board and player have number 6\, which is back to 1 step\, it means nothing because there is no chessman to move.\nIf player have number 1\, and chessman moves 1 step\, and next time player have 6\, which is back to 1 step\, it does not count they rotated. It just mean they are in start point.\nThere are numbers of ways that chessmen can move:\n\n\n \n\nTrap \n\nOriginal Yut does not have any trap\, but this game will have special trap for fun. In each line\, 1 step will be trap and player must give up their turn. It is only 1 turn\, and player can roll the dice next turn.
