Publish 118 will be released in phases over the next few months.  Stay up to date with the latest changes with the publish notes listed below.

Publish 118.2 

TC 1 Release – 11/7/2024

Origin, Izumo, Baja Release – 11/14/2024

Changes from TC1 to Origin

  • Towns that are currently experiencing an Artisan Festival will be exempt from Invasion
  • An additional cloak has been added to the reward pool
  • Invasion paragons will no longer be immune to life leech, but instead have the amount of life than can be leeched capped
  • Treasures of the Shattered Sanctum
    • Necromatic powers are causing the undead to rise within the towns of Britannia!
    • Town invasions will be active in both Trammel and Felucca (same town on both facets)
      • Guard zones are disabled within towns that are actively invaded
    • Earn artifacts bearing the Crest of the Shattered Sanctum from defeating mobs
    • A Vile Necromancer Lord mini-boss will spawn randomly within a town being invaded — defeat them for a higher chance at receiving artifacts!
    • Shadow Reaver cultists have hidden cursed objects within towns in order to assist the Necromancer Lords in raising the dead!
      • Utilize the Detect Hidden skill to locate and reveal these hidden chests within an invasion town
      • Cunning adventurers who can reveal the chests, overcome the traps, and pick the lock on these chests may be rewarded with a variety of gems, reagents, artifacts, uncommon deco, or even rare stealables within!
  • Huntmaster’s Challenge
    • New creatures can now be targeted as quarry in the Huntmaster’s Challenge
    • Desert Ostard, Frenzied Ostard, T-Rex
  • Krampus 
    • Krampus will be active from 12:01 AM ET Sunday, December 15, 2024 through 11:59 PM ET Wednesday, January 15, 2025
  • Artisan Festival
    • The Artisan Festival will once again run from Saturday December 7th through Saturday January 11th
    • New themed rewards for 2024: vases & wall shields
  • Holiday Gifts
    • All veteran characters at least 30 days old logging in between 12:01 AM ET Sunday December 1 and 11:59 PM ET Tuesday December 31 will receive a Holiday Gift Token
    • Holiday Gift Tokens can be redeemed for,
      • 3 Styles of Ornament Garlands
      • Candy Cane Lantern with a chance for uncommon colors
      • 3 Styles of Stained Glass Windows
    • Each token comes with a candy cane and gingerbread cookie
  • Ultima Store Items
    • Wearable Backpack
      • A new style backpack that can be equipped in the cloak slot and will open the inventory when used.  Can be dyed with regular, pigment, and promotional dyes.
    • Transmogrification Potion – Cloak Slot
      • Allows transmogrification of cloak slot items
    • Orb of Ethereal Transcendence
      • Allows conversion of the following vanity pet statuettes into ethereal style, normally hued mounts: Windrunner, Lasher, Eowmu, Skeletal Cat, Capybara, Coconut Crab, Grizzled Mare, and Moldering Ursine
  • Cu Sidhe Spawn
    • The Totem of Chromatic Fortune will now work with Cu Sidhe spawn

WW Release – 10/29/2024

  • Hotfixes
    • Shadow’s Awakening
      • The time to kill the manifestation of Evil will dynamically adjust based on how fast it is dying
      • Treasure Hunters that help contribute to summoning the Manifestation of Evil will have a chance at a drop when they are present for the kill
      • Shadow Hounds now have a chance to spawn from Cache, Hoard, and Trove maps in all facets
    • Nightmares / Totem of Chromatic Fortune
      • Players not in the same party or guild as the totem owner will be unable to damage rare colored spawns for a short duration after they spawn
      • Nightmares will now leash to their spawn location if pulled too far away
      • Additional spawn locations have been added to the southern Lost Lands areas in Trammel and Felucca

Origin Release – 10/24/2024

  • Mob Changes
    • Slightly reduced the health of Shadow Reaver adds
    • Reduced the health of spawned Portals
    • You can no longer life leech from the Shadow Reaver adds
  • Reward Changes
    • Added 10% LRC to the Codex of Shadows
    • Increased LMC from 5% to 8% on Bulwark of Shadows
    • Increased LRC from 10% to 15% on Bulwark of Shadows
    • Trinket bag is now called “Shadow Satchel” instead of “Bag”

TC 1 Release – 10/17/2024

  • Black Market Update – New pirate flags are available in the black market!  Collect 3 different flags can be placed on the addon pad on Britannia ships.
  • Player Death Skulls – unlucky enough to face death this Halloween season?  You’re in luck!  Exact your revenge on zombie skeletons and collect 3 new styles of skulls depicting different unfortunate ways of having met your maker!
  • Decorative Halloween Masks – Fresh collectible masks are available as an rare drop on Grimms found in pumpkin patches across Sosaria!  Collect all 3!
  • Rare Colored Nightmares – Evil magics corrupt the lands!  Tame 5 new rare colored Nightmares to add to your pet collection.  Additional Nightmare spawns have been added to the Covetous Mountains (Fel & Tram), Hythloth Level 4 (Fel & Tram), The Southern Lost Lands (Fel & Tram)
  • Echoes of the Blighted Realm – Shadow’s Awakening
    • Treasure Chests will have a chance to contain a Cursed Antiquity within
      • The antiquities will appear in treasure chests with a frequency based on the difficulty of the chest.  The higher the level of the chest, the more antiquities you can find!
      • Antiquities come in a variety of random prefixes and suffixes
      • Antiquities come in a variety of common and rare hues
    • Opening Treasure Chests will have a chance to spawn the Manifestation of Evil
      • All players will contribute towards the spawning of the boss by opening treasure chests of any level.
      • Progress towards spawning the boss increases with the difficulty of treasure chests opened.
      • Players can battle the Manifestation of Evil for a chance to collect special rewards, including rare items in rare hues.
      • When the Manifestation of Evil is summoned, players that have been treasure hunting will be notified of the boss’s location
      • Town Criers will also notify players when the Manifestation of Evil has been spotted
    • New Tamable: Shadow Hound
      • This pet has a chance to appear during the battle with the Manifestation of Evil

  • 27th Anniversary Rewards
    • All veteran characters 30-days or older that login between publish day and Friday, November 1, 2024 will receive an Anniversary Gift Bag.
    • Each gift bag will include an anniversary card and a 27th Anniversary Gift Token
    • Gift Tokens can be redeemed for 1 of 3 types of Sculptures
      • King Blackthorn
      • Queen Zhah
      • The Burning Regent
        • can be turned on and off, acts as a light source
    • Each statue comes in a variety of colors
      • 9 common hues
      • 8 rare hues
      • 1 uber-rare hue
  • Plunderin Pirate Hats
    • Plunderin’ Pirate Hats will no longer drop
    • Plunderin’ Pirate Hats can be turned in to the Cleanup Britannia System for 10.0 points each
