Choosing to change your hair color offers a number of options. A single use bottle of hair dye can be purchased from NPC provisioners at a cost of 37gp, it allows a number of hair color choices with 12 main colors and 5 shades within each color.
For a more luxurious feel, and maybe a restyle too, visit the hairstylist found in Alchemist shops. Their offer is:
While the normal hair dye is the same menu as from the provisioner’s bottle, although more expensive, the bright hair dye is similar to that used by the hairstylists themselves.
More unique hair colors are available, such as with Lady Melisande‘s hair dyes, or bought from Ultima Store with sovereigns.
Hair Dye Unlock System
- Unique Hair Dyes unlock on your character when you use them for the first time
- You can swap to any unique hair dye your character has unlocked by visiting a Hairstylist NPC and using the “Unlocked Hair Dye” option
- There is no limit to how many times you can swap your hair color with this system
- Currently Hair Dyes that are acquired from Lady Melisande and the UO Store will unlock in this system
- At Publish 124 if your character has a unique hair dye applied, that color will be unlocked automatically on that character.
