After spending the month gathering information on the evil alliance that seems to be forming, attention has returned to the strange construction work. Monoliths have now been erected there, which seem to be diverting any and all moongates from the Abyss to an area outside of the fortress. Is this a way of gathering the evil forces, or something else? Gather your weapons, dust off your spell books, and we shall try to find out!  

Corgul’s notes mentioned an exchange of notes and messages in the Library beneath Umbra. This bears investigating – so off you go! Anyone wanting to do the Bedlam quest, please make sure you have already got all the requirements, such as the library tuition quest.  

After defeating Corgul and his cousins, letters were found on the island… letters from a mysterious villain, calling for an alliance of evil against King Blackthorn. The king will be dispatching scouts and assassins to the places mentioned in the letters, through the course of this month, to find out how well organised this alliance is – and hopefully, to disrupt it. First stop – Khaldun, and the cursed souls who live there!
