Ultima Online Patch Notes for 06/19/1998 All guild functions were optimized to improve server performance. You will no longer be blocked for a week from changing your abbreviation or guild name if your change is denied. Guilds now use a text entry window instead of taking text from the regular prompt, in order to reduce accidental entry of conversation.

The UO.CFG option HoldTabForCombat=(yes|on|no|off) lets you choose which way it will operate. We are not sure that this will completely solve the problem with atrophy, and will continue to monitor the situation closely.
