The expedition into the undersea, didn’t go as planned, and only one of the rebel mages were brought to “justice”. The majority escaped as their brother brought them time, and the forces of Oceania were tied up battling Sirens and Nixies. A second expedition is sent after the rebel mages before they cause more anarchy in Oceania.
Wally, one of King Blackthorn’s “nephews” needs an escort, but Wally is sort of eccentric and doesn’t like “all this modern magic-stuff”. Being a puritan, Wally won’t gate or ride any mount or recall, and prefers to walk. He needs to be personally escorted to Trinsic, but there have been reports of bandits on the road, and villagers disappearing. What starts out as a seemingly easy task may be more difficult than you think.
