Deep in the dungeons discovered in the time of Mondain’s Legacy are special creatures judged sufficiently powerful of their type to be given names. These creatures are hard to overcome, but have the ability to confer special rewards on their conquerer. Their loot can contain keys to access the peerless monsters or special set items. Those that aren’t key holders may hold a paragon-style treasure chest, also minor artifacts may be deposited in your back pack.

This dungeon requires a ticket bought from the npc near the entrance for a cost of 10,000gp, the ticket has a duration of 12 hours and should be marked as a quest item. Progress through the dungeon is via a series of holes and is one way, you cannot retrace your steps. Holes are marked on the map with yellow dots, blue dots indicate the landing spots and the dotted yellow lines link the two; the red marked hole leads to a single room infested with rats and ice snakes, from there you can retrace your steps via a ladder.
The dungeon has no ‘named’ occupants other than its peerless, keys are found on the inhabitants of the dungeon as detailed in the page ‘Peerless Quests‘. Double clicking the ticket will grant you exit from the dungeon. At the very end of the dungeon is a small sandy area inhabited by NPC quest givers, a healer and, in Felucca only, an occasional spawn of ferrets which can be tamed. Although not bonded when first tamed these creatures will accompany you out of the dungeon when using the ticket, but only as far as the dungeon entrance, they will not recall with you until bonded as normal. |
