Event Background

Miles Merservey was quiet pissed off. Batlin dare ask for audience and speak with King Blackthorn. He talks like he understands King’s difficulties and distresses with full of oratory, but in fact he’s blaming King’s imcompetece. He wouldn’t noticed it if he’s still under the spell, but now he’s wearing a necklace that reduce effect of it. It was handcrafted by King and Mariah is researching on it. More Batlin talks, he only felt anger. How could I noticed this treachery before? He realized how powerful the spell is, and trembles with fear. At the same time, he also felt fear by the King Blackthorn as he’s dealing with Batlin like usual.

After the audience, King Blackthorn sighs and drink a glass of wine. He can see fury on his face.

“Miles, we have to hurry before it’s too late.”
