After Ryan and Daria visited the otherworld and deliver the message from Maabus the legendary necromancer, Umbra decided to stop this meaningless war with Luna. Furthermore, they agreed to deal with the situation first that Maabus mentioned, the Great Merge. Ryan and Daria reported to Royal Spy about the result, and they reported to the King.

While the King summoned the Council with some of powerful mages in the realm, they need more information. As Maabus mentioned about the elves, they visited Heartwood and asked their knowledge. However, the elves didn’t want to share anything about the World Tree, and even didn’t let them to investigate because it’s their sacred place.

Tialia, the spellweaver who witness tremble of the World Tree believed it’s something different and elves should work with humans to figure out what’s going on. So she met Ryan to guide him to secret passage to the World Tree. She also told that there were series of murders after the tremble and elders were suspecting a human. When they travel down to the root of the World Tree, they witness one of elder trying to investigate the scene and murders. Ryan discovered that it’s one of abnormal creature from another world, and begin to chase it. Ryan able to catch up and talked to it. It says it was dragged into this world by a rift that it never seen before regardless of its will. And all it wanted is to go back to where it belongs. However, the elves closed the rift so it committed such horrible crimes.

Abnormal creature asked him to show compassion but it already committed series of murders so Ryan decided to take it down and put it into the Black Museum for safety of the realm. And it’s time for him to visit Royal Spy to report and to know what the Council found. But soon he’ll find out that he’s going to meet someone he never expected…
