N’Xyldar is coming…

A towering, thin, almost skeletal humanoid silhouette made entirely of black winter — not just shadow, but absence of warmth.
Where his body should be: drifting fragments of frozen pine needles, shards of broken ornaments, and whispering ribbons pulled taut like veins.

His eyes burn coal-red like embers dying out.

His hands end in ice hooks that look suspiciously like twisted candy canes, but without colour — all the joy siphoned out.

Around him, snowflakes fall upward.  Hopefully, he will have been defeated before Christmas. If not… look out!

Signature Powers

He may exhibit some, all, or none of these powers, depending on how his might has been allowed to grow by the citizens of Britannia in the previous weeks. Whatever he can do, it is going to hurt. Bring bulk bandages, and a wandering healer or 4.

1. The Frost of Forgotten Cheer

Drains stamina, mana, and hope.

2. Dirge of Unmaking

A swirling vortex of off-key carols sung backward. Causes panic, Discordance, and very real emotional discomfort.

3. Unwrapping

Rips enchantments off items temporarily — as if unwrapping their “gifts”.

4. Hearth-Snuff

Extinguishes fires, torches, magical lights, and laughs at fire magic.

5. Yuletide Reversal Aura

Holiday creatures become hostile: reindeer, snow elementals, gingerbread golems.
