Once each year, the influence of an infernal being called Ashmedai reaches toward Britannia as the boundary separating the mortal world from the Underworld weakens. His herald, The Echo of Ashmedai, manifests within Umbra seeking an artifact necessary for an unknown ritual: the bloodied skull of a forgotten Feluccan warlord. The Echo leads Britannia's adventurers into Felucca, where they discover the Warlord's grave and perform an enchantment to awaken him.
