The War on Unapproved 3rd party programs

Good afternoon everyone,
   We are putting out this detection in maintenance so that means the Japanese shard will get this tonight and the others will get it when your shard performs its maintenance.
 We wanted to give you an update on our next step to crush the unapproved automatic gameplay in UO.  At this time these changes will only apply to EJ accounts.  If you are flagged, you will not be able to log back in the shard once you log out.  When you try to log back into that shard you will see a message such as this “Your access to this shard is currently suspended due to a violation of our terms of service. Our review process may take up to 72 hours to review the ticket but know that EJ accounts that are caught cheating or exploiting will be Perma banned.
   This is the first step we are doing to help stop the cheating in UO.  Please know additional measures are on the way.

New Legacy Beta

Greetings,

We want to thank everyone who expressed interest in the Ultima Online: New Legacy beta!  Since the release of the Gameplay Trailer the response has been overwhelming!  We want to give everyone an opportunity to join in on this journey together!

We are pleased to announce the first  New Legacy open beta period will begin on Friday, July 26th 2024 and conclude on Sunday, July 28, 2024.  Beta testing weekends (Friday-Sunday) will then continue until launch day.

These sessions will allow us the opportunity to provide targeted testing, systems validation, and feedback across New Legacy.  With each open beta weekend we will provide instructions and additional information so we make the most out of these experiences.

Transmog potion exploit

Greetings Everyone,

I would like to address the exploit that is currently active with Hawkwind’s robe.  We are removing the Transmogrification Potion – Robe Slot from the store until this fix is published.  Know that we are working on a solution and will release it when it passes QA.  These items will no longer be equippable following the fix.

   Due to the fact this is an exploit you will be given one (1) of two (2) choices.

  1.  You can keep the item as decoration.  If you go that route then a note will be put in your file as to your decision.
  2.  Second choice is Mesanna will delete the item and give you back a transmog potion.  But you will lose the item.

Please contact CS to have your item processed.

Please also note that transmogrification of items onto non-repairable items results in a non-repairable item.

Game Time Codes Unavailable – Update

Publish 117 Hotfixes to Origin

Greetings,

We have deployed the following hotfixes to Origin.  Character transfers will be disabled to/from Origin until all shards are published.  We will update the deployment schedule for all shards to receive these hotfixes when available.

  • Resolved issue where hedge type could not be placed in greenhouse
  • Resolved issue with counts of lobsters & crabs available on merchant ships
  • Restored functionality of the Enchanted Gardening Shears
  • Resolved server crash

Publish 117 World Wide

Greetings,

We are pleased to announce that Publish 117 will be released world wide with each shard’s normally scheduled maintenance beginning with our Japanese server on April 18th, 2024.  Please check out the Publish 117 patch notes for full details.

With this update, vendor search will be going through maintenance and will be unavailable temporarily while we perform this work.
