Publish 5 The following is a list of changes deployed as Publish 5 on April 27, 2000. This publish was known as the Renaissance Publish. Cure Potions Cure potions will now cure poison based on the relative strength of the cure potion and the poison afflicting the character. A lesser cure will have virtually no chance of curing a deadly poisoned character, while a greater cure will cure greater poison much more often than not. Publish 3 The following is a list of changes deployed as Publish 3 on February 23, 2000. Trade Window Changes Trade windows will become more secure. You will not be able to trade a trapped item. You will not be able to trade an item that was recently stolen. You will not be able to trade items to a player if that player cannot hold the items. Publish 2 The following is a list of changes deployed as Publish 2 on January 24, 2000. Escort Changes Escorting will be balanced to bring it more in line with other gold generating methods. You may only have one escort at a time. Townspeople requesting escort will not travel with someone who is already escorting. Instead, it will be dependent on line-of-sight to your attackers, and distance from them. The lower your Hiding skill, the farther away you need to get. Ultima Online Patch Notes for 12/16/1997 Client changes Some coloring issues with the transparency circle related to ghosthood and hued objects were fixed. The interaction between the transluccency bubble and popped foliage was fixed. Target highlighting for the criminal flag is now in place.
