One year older, one year wiser. Maybe.

Several years ago, I thought “You know, it would be amazing to see in the New Year in EVERY time zone that Siege Perilous touches”.

And so I did. We fought, and celebrated, and killed things, for over 24 hours straight in a massive dungeon. A great time – I am repeatedly told – was had by all.

Wow.  Was that dumb.

Because, you see, I set the bar too high. You’ve asked for a repeat every year since then. And, much as I’d love to do it, I have to be honest about something – my stamina, while not terrible, is not what it used to be. I simply cannot do another 24 hour long event. So, for those who did attend, mark that down in your history books as “I was there!”  This year, we’ll be doing things a little differently.

I will be doing pop-ups on and off throughout the day. Not every hour, not all day – you need a younger (and stupider) EM for that. But I will be putting in multiple appearances on New Year’s Day, for those who choose to spend their New Year in the Land.  See you there.
