To celebrate the 23rd Anniversary of Ultima Online all veteran characters at least 30 days old logging in between Tuesday, September 1, 2020 12:01:00 AM GMT-04:00 and Thursday, October 1, 2020 12:01:00 AM GMT-04:00 will receive a 23rd Anniversary Gift card and token that can be redeemed for,

  • Silver Plated Lamppost
    • Randomly delivered as 1 of 4 types of lamp posts that can be turned on and off and functions as a colored light source.
  • Silver Plated Bubbling Cauldron
    • Blessed house addon deed that has a rare chance to be delivered in 1 of 7 rare hues.  Otherwise is a random common hue.
  • Silver Plated Tome
    • Can be turned in 4 directions using the Interior Decorator.
    • Randomly named as the “Tale of…” with a random nobility title and city name.
    • Rare chance to be delivered in 1 of 6 random hues.  Otherwise is a random common hue.

Treasures of Deceit

Greetings,

We are pleased to announce the next soft launch of our dynamic treasures system with Treasures of Deceit!

Players on Lake Superior, Sakura, Oceania, and Europa can battle creatures in Deceit to obtain Artifacts of Undead Kin!  These artifacts can be exchanged for rewards from the Artifact Trader located outside the Dungeon Deceit.  You can visit Felucca or Trammel and artifacts can be exchanged with both traders.

Creatures eligible to drop minor artifacts will be identified with a “Treasures of Deceit” item property.  Existing spawn will need to be killed before Treasures creatures will spawn.  Check the Pub 109 publish notes for full details on the Dynamic Treasures system.

The event will be available on Lake Superior, Sakura, Oceania, and Europa following regularly scheduled maintenance  on Wednesday, August 5, 2020 12:01:00 AM GMT-04:00 DST.  The event will conclude on Wednesday, August 12, 2020 11:59:00 PM GMT-04:00 DST.

We are pleased to announce the soft launch of our dynamic treasures system with Treasures of Orcish Kin!

Players on Origin & Izumo can battle creatures in the Orc Dungeon to obtain Artifacts of Orcish Kin!  These artifacts can be exchanged for rewards from the Artifact Trader located outside the Orc Dungeon.  You can visit Felucca or Trammel and artifacts can be exchanged with both traders.

Publish 109 – World Wide Release

Publish 109 Test Center Release 2

We are pleased to announce the next release of Publish 109 to TC 1!  This release brings our Dynamic Treasures system which will allow us to setup dynamically generated Treasures events.  We’ve setup a short test scenario on TC 1 for players to test both the Dynamic Treasures and Champ Spawn system.  You can start the scenario by visiting the Britain Commons.  Check out the publish notes for full details and we look forward to your feedback.

Publish 109 Test Center Release 1

We are pleased to announce we have updated Test Center 1 with the latest release of Publish 109.  Please head over to the wiki and check out the full publish notes.

This release includes a mandatory client patch so please make sure you fully patch up your client before accessing TC1 or any production shard.

Summer Celebration Gift & New UO Store Item!

Greetings,

We are pleased to announce two exciting items!

Firstly, as a celebration of the summer season and as a thank you to our players we invite you to visit the Britain Commons (Luna Bank on Seige Perilous) to claim a celebration wizard!  The reward generators are being placed manually so we appreciate your patience while these items are deployed.  The reward generators will expire on the date noted.

We are also pleased to announce this month’s addition to the Ultima Store!  Beautify your garden for all your summer events with this decorative garden sculpture!

Housing Status Update

Greetings everyone,

We hope everyone is staying home and safe.  We understand this is very trying but know we are all together on this.

The team has talked about this several times and we feel the best decision is not to turn off housing decay.  It would impact everyone by not allowing housing to be placed, housing to be transferred, as well temporarily turning off house decay.  The problem is if we did turn it off when the housing is turned back on all the status fast forwards to the point it should have been at when we turned them off.
