Trade Ministers offer players the ability to deliver goods between cities. In exchange for this not only could you earn a variety of rewards, you can also gain funds for the city where you accept the trade and loyalty credit from both cities.
Taking the Quest
Players may get an offer for a trade order by accessing the context menu on a City Trade Minister.
Trade ministers can be found near the docks or stables in the loyalty cities.

Trinsic Trade Minister | Vesper Trade Minister | Yew Trade Minister |
Read his offer carefully, there are problems in accepting this commission. You may not recall, gate or sacred journey, even Skara Ferry and the teleport tiles in Jhelom and Moonglow can’t be used, so be sure to take with you a boat to enable you to cross the seas. You can use the public moongates, but to do so will forfeit any distance bonus and rare chance at rewards. Taking a short-cut through the Solen Nest is also not possible.
Players accepting their first trade order will receive a message from “A friend…” This mysterious note can be read here (when no one is looking of course.)
Filling the Order
If you accept the order you will be given a crate or barrel, the items you need to fill the order can be found in the local town shops. Simply drop stacked items onto the crate, but for items that do not stack use the context menu on the crate, the ‘Fill From Backpack’ option. The further option on that menu ‘Cancel Trade Order’ can be used at any time if you wish to resign the quest.
As you complete more orders the number of different items you are asked for will increase, upto to a total of 5, in quantities up to 20, always in multiples of 5. In the example shown 3 items are requested.
Note: Trade orders cannot be removed from your backpack and will be destroyed if the character undertakes a shard transfer.
Making the Delivery
You have your crate, it’s full of goods, time to set off to the town that requires them, or maybe not, remember that note? Beware, you may be ambushed along the way!
Ambush mobs will have a special “Ambusher” item property, visible when you single click on them, and will despawn after 10 minutes of not being attacked. Monster difficulty scales based on the stats and skills of the player character.
The amount of gold received by the city treasury is determined by number of monsters killed (up to a capped limit per delivery) and the distance between the origin and destination cities. Distance also affects the number of resources rewarded. Walking, rather than running, will allow for more ambusher encounters, it would also seem (unconfirmed) that ambushers are more likely to spawn in woodland than near player housing. Most inconveniently they have a nasty tendency to spawn on the ends of those town docks that are marginally outside of the guardzone, either as you are launching your ship or as you disembark from it!
Being a true and noble lady, the pictured order for Britain was delivered safely, however a less honorable character may be tempted by the writer of that nefarious note. The note’s writer and his ‘clones’ can be found in these location:
