Greetings,

We are pleased to announce 25th Anniversary Gifts are available for testing on TC1.

All veteran characters 30-days or older are eligible to receive a 25th Anniversary Gift box which includes,

25th Anniversary Card

&

25th Anniversary Token

The 25th Anniversary Token can be redeemed for one of the following gifts,

Silver Anniversary Shield

The shield, when double clicked, will display a stylized version of the Ultima Online Charter Edition Box art with an anniversary inscription along with a musical accompaniment of Stones. The shield also bears the inscription, September 24, 1997 – the date Ultima Online launched.

Silver Intoxicating Liquor

The skull shaped bottle, when double clicked will inebriate the imbiber. The bottle is available in 11 common and 1 rare hue.

Silver Anniversary Tome

The tome, when double clicked will display a randomized scene of Britannian landscape as well as play a musical accompaniment appropriate to the scene. The tome also bears an inscription displaying the shard name the tome was redeemed as well as the date that shard went live.

After working to uncover the mystery of Rabbits laying Curiously Adorned Eggs, the Ranger’s Guild of Skara Brae has tracked an usual Fey Presence to the Dungeon Destard.  Britannians must work together to overcome the challenges presented in, Treasures of Fey Wrath!

Vendor Search Database Maintenance

Update: Database maintenance is complete. Vendor Search is back online.

Greetings,

We will be taking Vendor Search offline to perform database maintenance this evening.  Once Vendor Search is brought back online, the vendor database will repopulate over a 24-hour period.  During this time, you will experience intermittent search failures.  Vendor owners may opt out and re-opt-in their vendors to accelerate the process, but this is not required.  We appreciate your patience.

Publish 112 Hotfixes

Greetings,

The following hotfixes will be deployed with each shard’s next regularly scheduled maintenance,

  • Non-paralithode pets in the Wreck of the Ararat will now drown and upon death will be auto-stabled
  • Resolved issue where reapers were not casting spells

Spring Fever Live on All Shards

Greetings,

We are pleased to announce our latest event, Spring Fever, is live on all shards!  Check out the latest edition of the Town Cryer to learn about this exciting series of events!

Visit the fields of Britannia to collect curiously adorned eggs!  Think you can find them all, including the uber-rare ones?

Keep an eye out for colorful rabbits wandering the lands!  Increase your odds of finding a rare colored rabbit with the Totem of Chromatic Fortune!

The champ spawn will conclude on or about April 22, 2022. The next phase of the event, Wrath of the Fey, will begin shortly thereafter.

Oracles & Quest NPCs will conclude on or about July 1, 2022.

UO Herald - Hotfix

Publish 112 Hotfixes

Greetings,

As of each shard’s normally scheduled maintenance, the following hotfixes have been deployed:

  • Dead bonded pets will now teleport with their owners
  • Resolved issues related to players wearing reflect physical damage items and using traps
  • Resolved issues related to players wearing reflect physical damage items while fighting specific AIs

Publish 112 Worldwide

Greetings,

We are pleased to announce that Publish 112 will be released Worldwide starting this evening with the European shards then the rest during normal maintenance on February 8th, 2022.  If you haven’t already, make sure to check out the release notes.

Please note that vendor search will be unavailable beginning February 7th, 2022 @ 4 pm ET. Vendor Search will return once all shards have been published, approximately  February 8th, 2022 at 1 pm ET.

Publish 112 Coming to Origin, Izumo & Baja, TC1 Updated

Greetings,

We are pleased to announce Publish 112 will be deployed to Origin, Izumo, and Baja during their next regularly scheduled maintenance.  We have also updated TC1.  Check out the full publish notes for full details, highlights include –

  • Refactored the Monster-Proof Chest to the Chalice of Pilfering Protection, an elegant sculpture that will grant the user protection from monster looting once per 24 hours.
  • Updated the Potion Vat to hold up to 10 different types of potion kegs, 10 of each type for a total of 100 kegs.
  • Pet costumes will now automagically re-equip upon resurrecting a dead pet.
  • Pre-resist damage is no longer reflected by reflect physical damage.
  • You may now transmogrify the Hildebrandt shield with gargish shields.
