Greetings,
We are pleased to announce the next release of Publish 109 to TC 1! This release brings our Dynamic Treasures system which will allow us to setup dynamically generated Treasures events. We’ve setup a short test scenario on TC 1 for players to test both the Dynamic Treasures and Champ Spawn system. You can start the scenario by visiting the Britain Commons. Check out the publish notes for full details and we look forward to your feedback.

We are pleased to announce we have updated Test Center 1 with the latest release of Publish 109. Please head over to the wiki and check out the full publish notes.
This release includes a mandatory client patch so please make sure you fully patch up your client before accessing TC1 or any production shard.

We are pleased to announce two exciting items!
Firstly, as a celebration of the summer season and as a thank you to our players we invite you to visit the Britain Commons (Luna Bank on Seige Perilous) to claim a celebration wizard! The reward generators are being placed manually so we appreciate your patience while these items are deployed. The reward generators will expire on the date noted.
We are also pleased to announce this month’s addition to the Ultima Store! Beautify your garden for all your summer events with this decorative garden sculpture!

We hope everyone is staying home and safe. We understand this is very trying but know we are all together on this.
The team has talked about this several times and we feel the best decision is not to turn off housing decay. It would impact everyone by not allowing housing to be placed, housing to be transferred, as well temporarily turning off house decay. The problem is if we did turn it off when the housing is turned back on all the status fast forwards to the point it should have been at when we turned them off.

To give everyone additional activities to do during these trying times we have revisited some past events. To continue to keep things fresh we will be sun-setting the Treasures of Tokuno event and reactivating the 20th Anniversary Invasion. This transition will occur on May 12, 2020. You will still be able to turn in your minor artifacts to the Imperial Minister of Trade in the Rokuon Cultural Center and Shops in Zento.

We are aware of the issue with Atlantic crashing and are working to resolve the cause. We do not have an estimate time this will be fixed but wanted everyone to know we are aware of it and will keep you informed of our progress.

With each shard’s normally scheduled maintenance beginning with Japanese shards on April 7, 2020 we will be deploying the following hotfixes,
We have also migrated the Vendor Search server and performed maintenance to improve search performance with named searches and to deal with the high volumes of searches we are experiencing.
We will be taking Vendor Search offline prior to performing maintenance to implement this improvement which will then require the re-population of all vendor search data over a 24 hour period.

With each shard’s normally scheduled maintenance beginning March 31, 2020 the following hotfixes will be deployed,
We are also aware of the issues related to vendor search and character transfers that have been reported. This is due to increased demand and players online. We will be performing upgrades on those services in the coming weeks. Keep an eye on UO.com for updates.
We have also become aware of a number of issues related to the use of impassable objects to impact other players in the game world. Please be aware that GMs will no longer be issuing warnings for these violations and those abusing these items will face immediate action on their accounts. Violators will receive a 72 hour ban. We take this very seriously and we hope by doing this the behavior stops.
