Beginning with each shard’s regular maintenance on September 16, 2020 we will be releasing an update to all shards which includes our new dynamic quest system as well as some miscellaneous changes and bug fixes,
The Black Gate
We are excited to announce, with this release, we will now have support for dynamic quest implementation! The first will be “The Black Gate”. We will be releasing more information on The Black Gate tomorrow once the quest has been setup. Our current release schedule for the Black Gate is,
September 16, 2020 – Origin
September 21, 2020 – Izumo, Legends, Baja, Chesapeake
September 22, 2020 – Atlantic, Great Lakes, Hokuto Formosa
September 23, 2020 – Catskills, Seige Perilous, Pacific, Yamato, Sonoma
September 24, 2020 – Sakura, Drachenfels, Lake Austin, Napa, Lake Superior
September 25, 2020 – Europa, Oceania, Mugen, Wakoku, Mizuho, Asuka, Arirang, Balhae
The quest will be available for the foreseeable future, so everyone will have plenty of time to participate in this and all the other exciting events we have planned for the fall and winter!
This release also includes a mandatory client patch, so make sure you patch your client before accessing any shard.

We are pleased to announce the next soft launch of our dynamic treasures system with Treasures of Deceit!
Players on Lake Superior, Sakura, Oceania, and Europa can battle creatures in Deceit to obtain Artifacts of Undead Kin! These artifacts can be exchanged for rewards from the Artifact Trader located outside the Dungeon Deceit. You can visit Felucca or Trammel and artifacts can be exchanged with both traders.
Creatures eligible to drop minor artifacts will be identified with a “Treasures of Deceit” item property. Existing spawn will need to be killed before Treasures creatures will spawn. Check the Pub 109 publish notes for full details on the Dynamic Treasures system.
The event will be available on Lake Superior, Sakura, Oceania, and Europa following regularly scheduled maintenance on Wednesday, August 5, 2020 12:01:00 AM GMT-04:00 DST. The event will conclude on Wednesday, August 12, 2020 11:59:00 PM GMT-04:00 DST.

We are pleased to announce the soft launch of our dynamic treasures system with Treasures of Orcish Kin!

As of July 21, 2020 we will be deactivating the Invasions. This is in anticipation of the soft launch of our new dynamic Treasures events.
