Doom Gauntlet Artifacts are awarded to adventurers who brave the depths of Dungeon Doom and cross to the Gauntlet. Whenever one of the inhabitants of this area dies, there is a small chance that one of its attackers will be awarded with one of these artifacts. All attackers who achieve looting rights gain credit, in time this credit will accumulate, leading to such an award. As of publish 96, drop rates were adjusted to favour items seen as more desireable. Artifacts marked in this table as ‘equal’ are available as equal drops from the Guaranteed Reward System while legacy doom artifacts that […]

An addition to the menu of most craft tools with the Stygian Abyss Expansion is the ‘Alter Item (Gargoyle)’ option. Note: Some special items, made by crafters that have read the appropriate recipes from Doom but not alterable by a crafter, can be altered by visiting Vrulkax the Exalted Artificer at the Crafting Plaza in the Royal City. Note: Items presented to Vrulkax must be in full repair When altered to Gargoyle version the bone armor artifact item ‘cuffs of the arch mage’ becomes stone, repaired via Masonry This can be used directly by a crafter, or through an alter […]
Many players prefer, for convenience and ease of play, to have some form of shortcut to frequently used actions or spells. There are two ways of achieving this aim, the first is through the use of desktop icons in the classic client or hotbars in the enhanced client. The hotbars are a more versatile option, being one of the feature that justify that client in its name of ‘enhanced’. The alternative method of creating shortcuts is through macros which will be dealt with on the page ‘Creating Macros‘, although in enhanced client these methods can be combined as icons representing […]

These quests allow entry to the Stygian Abyss but will not be offered to characters that have completed Garamon’s quest. Make your way to the far south end of the land and find Naxatilor the Seer in one of the buildings in the Holy City. There is no need to mark the writ as a quest item, double clicking him will open the quest dialogue and recognise the item. You could, at this point, return to Egwexem for your reward, but […]
The virtues of the gargoyle race, and the answer to questions posed by the shrine of singularity, found in the mountains above the entrance to Tomb of Kings, to gain access to the Abyss when characters chant the mantra “unorus”. All begins with the three principles: Control, Passion and Diligence From Control springs Direction. From Passion springs Feeling. From Diligence springs Persistence. But these three virtues are no more important than the other five: Control combines with Passion to give Balance. Passion combines with Diligence to yield Achievement. And Diligence joins with Control to provide Precision The absence of Control, […]
