The road East of Britain turns more northerly and eventually meets the road from Yew to Vesper close to Compassion Desert. Just before this junction is a large swamp, the Bog of Desolation (54.24'N 50.07'E 2036, 1005). The bog is home to a variety of unpleasant creatures; from alligators and sewer rats to bog things and plague beasts, from slime and snakes to lizardmen and ratmen. Giant serpents, giant rats, mongbats and an acid elemental may also be encountered there. |
