Basics | Resources | Unravelling | Imbuing | Restrictions | Bonuses | Power Scrolls & Skillgain | Mysticism Imbuing is a skill that allows player characters to add resists and/or magic properties to loot or crafted items in a controlled, though limited way and to unravel magical items into the basic resources needed for such embellishment. A character who is trained in this skill has the skill title ‘Artificer’. There is also a more random, but also more powerful, option for the skilled artificer, runic reforging. Basics Imbuing requires no ‘tool’ but does require you to be close to a […]
The ability to construct mechanical pets was discovered some years ago when Lord Blackthorn brought his abominable constructs to Ilshenar. Later the mage Sutek developed three further pet types and a recent discovery is the Kotl Automaton. The basic building blocks of mechanical pet construction are: a clockwork assembly and a power crystal Although crafted by characters with Tinkering skill the basic pet is not listed on the tinkering menu, Sutek’s creations and the Kotl Automaton are listed, however, under the ‘assemblies’ category. Creating them is an exhausting task, if attempting to repeat it too quickly you will be advised […]

Sought out by hunters and fighters for his ability to craft bola; weapons such as nunchaku, cleavers, skinning knives and jewelry; both basic and magical. No gargoyle’s suit is complete without a finely crafted necklace and earrings from a grandmaster tinker (suitably imbued […]

Do you need a particular item and don’t know where to look for it? Try vendor search. Access the search through your character’s context menu while in a safe location. The definition of a ‘safe location’ in this instance includes houses where you have access at friend level or above and guard zones. It is not necessary to be in an inn in town, anywhere within the guard zone limits will suffice. Selecting the Vendor Search option will open an extensive selection menu: For the purposes of this demonstration a selection ‘ring’ was made from the ‘Equipment’ menu. Click the […]
