Sutek The Mage

The only quest giver in the Stygian Abyss, Sutek’s workshop is found just South West of the Clan Scratch area of The Cavern of The Discarded. A wise questor will study this area well, noting as many locations of highlightable items as possible.   Sutek himself is somewhat more elusive and can often be found some considerable distance from his home, as can be seen from the image. He wanders the cavern and surrounding areas muttering strangely to himself.   On taking the quest you will receive a clockwork assembly with a timer. Do nothing with this at this point […]

Mining

Ore to Ingots | Colored Ore | Mining for Stone and Sand Mining is a basic, and fairly essential skill for an aspiring blacksmith or, to a slightly lesser degree, tinker. To begin mining you will need tools, these can be either picks or shovels and can be used from the backpack, they do not need to be equipped: A shovel or pickaxe bought from a tinker npc has 50 uses before it breaks. An exceptional shovel or pickaxe made by a player using tinkering skill has 100 uses. High quality mining tools, such as the sturdy pickaxe and sturdy […]

Bardic Spellsongs

The ability to cast ‘spellsongs’, bard mastery, is achieved by performing one of three quests given by Sir Berran the Song Wielder, Sir Hareus the Battle Rouser or Sir Falean the Spirit Soother. They are found in the Conservatory of Music in Britain (both facets). Caution, only one ‘mastery’ can be held at any time. Mastering a second ‘song’ negates the first mastery. To regain a mastery you must repeat the quest to unlock it. Spellsongs do not affect normal use of barding skills, however you must have ‘master’ level in both the specific skill and musicianship to undertake the […]

A bard may only have one ability in effect at a time. Abilities do not stack with themselves. All abilities require upkeep dependent on how […]
