Parry

The Parrying and Bushido skills are checked during combat to determine whether an attack can be fully blocked. Melee and archery attacks can be fully parried if the defender is using a Shield or Melee weapon. On a successful parry, the attacker will miss completely. If a special move is parried it will not drain mana from the special move user. Note that if you are using a shield, the Bushido skill will actually lessen your chance to block an attack. Chivalry

Chivalry Spells and Abilities Chivalry is a spellcasting ability of the Paladin, instead of reagents it uses Tithing points. To cast the spells you will also need a Book of Chivalry from an NPC Keeper of Chivalry in Luna. This book contains not only the 10 Paladin spells but also shows how many tithing points you have. Because Chivalry is by nature aligned with the forces of good, a Paladin who has high karma will find his/her chivalrous powers more effective. Bushido

Bushido Abilities Bushido, the art of the samurai, is not true spellcasting. The abilities being something of a cross between spells and weapon abilities. To use samurai abilities you must have a book of bushido. Books are available from samurai trainer in Zento, and come complete with all of the abilities. At 90 skill, it becomes possible to use Bushido in place of Animal Taming for the purpose of controlling and riding Lesser Hiryus. Glassblowing is a supplementary skill for Grandmaster Alchemists, its does not cost any skill points, and has no effect on the skill cap.
