Content | This page is intended to give a brief introduction, further information can be found linked at the foot of this page. All information may be subject to change and expanded upon as the author gains knowledge.
All characters begin in Ocllo and those planning a mage or warrior character may choose to follow the narratives, a guided experience with gaining through quests, or to head to the frontlines (the divergent path), increasing your skill through fighting monsters. Crafters must follow the narrative path.

The Quest Journal

Your quest objectives are listed in the quest journal, not sure where to go to complete it? Clicking on the button on the left will give some guidance, watch your game journal to see them, an example of the type of guidance would be "Your current objective is a fair distance to the west." Clicking on the blue gem to the right will give the objective details

This gives a full description of the offer together with the rewards you can expect for completing it.

The introductory narrative involves a significant amount of running up and down the streets of the city, so you might be interested to know that the Gamekeeper, at the lower end of Ocllo farm area, will sell you a horse once you have earned enough.

At the end of your guided tour around Ocllo you will choose your main skill set and your journey to learn the skill will begin. The storyline quest resulting from your choice will provide basic equipment and take the character to 50 (crafters) or 60 (mages & warriors) in each of the baseline skills, be sure to claim your reward after each step of the chain. On completion of this quest chain the character will leave Ocllo. Be sure you have done all you need to do on this island, there is no return to it.

Character Selection

An account may have two characters. Certain aspects of skill sets are fixed.
A carpenter will learn lumberjack, a smith will learn mining, a mage will learn inscription. Other, optional skills may be added later.
All crafters learn a weapon skill, initially swordsmanship. All warriors too will begin their journey learning swordsmanship and choose between melee or ranger at the end of their time in Ocllo, this choice can be changed once in Trinsic where all characters may change to a different weapon skill if they wish to, there is a small 'kill' quest to achieve this.
Skill gain beyond Ocllo is achieved through a series of narrative quests interspersed with tasks from the 'jobs board'. In addition to skill gain these tasks will give gold and some reward items. These items do not fall automatically into your back pack, but must be claimed from the quest objectives list. Do not forget to claim your rewards as you complete a task, some are essential to the quest chain and you will be unable to progress until you have them.
On completion of a jobs board task you will be awarded skill points which you can distribute over your current skill set by consulting the skill trainer found beside the job boards.
Complete jobs from the job board and till you reach the next level of skill, then return your skill trainer NPC to begin the next part of your narrative.
Should you fail an objective you will need to clear it from your quest journal before you can re-take it.
