Halloween approaches, this year evil forces have taken over Deceit making the dungeon even more dangerous than usual, with the occupants no longer confined to their usual areas, but wandering throughout the dungeon and having gained the ability to spawn as paragons. Halloween – The Black Gate Champion Spawn (Autumn 2020)
The Black Gate Champ Spawn in October 2020 was found in a clearing among the lava of the volcano on Fire Island on all shards except Siege Perilous where a gate was provided just beyond Umbra’s Inn to a special location, Siege having no volcano. Enhanced Client Container Views
There are a number of settings for container views, the following images will illustrate the various choices. First, on the ‘containers’ tab of the user settings menu, the default view with no options selected. This gives arranges your items in a grid pattern, but without grid lines. Dynamic Champion Spawns
Publish 109, in the summer of 2020, saw the introduction of 26 dynamic champion spawn locations that may be activated for the duration of a global or EM event. These spawns function in the same way as the established, permanent, champion spawns with waves of increasingly difficult creatures leading to a final ‘boss’ monster, champion boss spawn scales based on player density, up to two Champions spawning per encounter.
