Skara Brae Skara Brae is the home of Rangers and is located on an island off the eastern coast of Britannia, separated from the mainland by a channel which is traversed by means of a ferry between docks on the isle and on the mainland. The Ranger’s Hall (45.47’S 40.21’W 749, 2145) along with several farms and homes is close to the mainland docks; however most of the town’s traffic arrives and departs through the public moongate at the northeast corner of the isle. Serpent’s Hold This military stronghold is built on two islands linked by a bridge. The northern island is heavily fortified with high stone walls, the land of the southern island, the Isle of Deeds, is unwelcoming, infested with venomous snakes and alligators. A cave just west of the north dock gives access to Fire Dungeon, through which it is possible to reach the desert area of Lost Lands. Royal City Seat of power for the land of Ter Mur and home of its monarch, Queen Zhah, this is a walled city at the center of the land. The city has an abundance of citizens requiring quests to be done, from Queen Zhah herself to humble shop keepers, and even a slightly disreputable inhabitant, Sliem the Fence. Papua Built on platforms high above the swamps and constructed of rattan panels roofed with palm fronds, Papua is the second of the two towns in the Lost Lands. Entry by magical pentagram from Moonglow brings the adventurer to an identical pentagram in the mage shop. Return to Moonglow can be achieved by means of a second password, ‘Recsu’. Ocllo The Town and Island of Ocllo exists only in Felucca, its location corresponding with that of Haven on the Trammel facet. The town is bordered on the eastern side by farmland; the road south through the fields terminates at Ocllo Arena (100.38’S 172.15’E 3773, 2769). Ocllo is one of the eight towns contested by Vice versus Virtue, though having no virtue directly associated with it, the town takes up the gauntlet on behalf of its near neighbor, Magincia. New Magincia Magincia, with its estates of Magincian nobles and a large temple to Pride, was totally destroyed by demons except for the small island which was home of the Magincia Parliament, connected to the large island by two large ornate bridges and now housing the town’s bank and bazaar warehouse. Moonglow Moonglow is a city dedicated to magic and mystical arts, found on the island of Verity. The principle area of the city is fenced and gated, surrounding a maze from which teleporters connect to the more outlying shops and facilities. One of these, the Encyclopedia Magicka, contains a magical pentagram, which proves to be a further teleporter. Saying, or more discretely whispering, the password ‘Recdu’ while standing on this will transport you to the Lost lands, to a second pentagram in the town of Papua. Minoc The mining town of Minoc is third (alphabetically) of the Feluccan towns contested by Vice versus Virtue. The virtue associated with the town is that of Sacrifice, the opposing vice being Covetous Minoc in Trammel is also third in a group of nine cities, having an elected governor chosen from and by the players under the Britannia Loyalty and Councils system.
